Product 04 · Engineered format
Custom impregnated nonwoven materials
When a standard roll does not fit the equipment or the cleaning method, the material is engineered around the line: substrate, dimensions, perforation, liquid grade and loading specified together. OEM programs are run directly from our factory in China.
What "custom" actually covers
Customisation is often reduced to a width change. In practice, the cleaning result depends on several variables that interact. Changing one without reviewing the others can create a material that fits the machine but performs differently on the roll.
- Substrate. Fibre type, blend, web structure, basis weight and thickness.
- Dimensions. Slit width, roll length, core diameter, winding tension, sheet size.
- Format. Continuous roll, perforated roll, individual sheet, stacked pack.
- Liquid and loading. Grade, target mass per area, tolerance and distribution.
- Cleanliness. Lint, particle or extractable limits where downstream risk exists.
- Packaging. Sealed wrap, carton, labelling, pallet and traceability format.

Configuration options
| Parameter | Options | Confirmation required |
|---|---|---|
| Substrate | PET, PET/cellulose, custom blend; spunlace or needlepunch | Temperature, chemistry, lint and strength requirements |
| Basis weight | Selected for absorbency, strength and conformability | Target and tolerance, with the reason for the target |
| Width | Slit to equipment interface | Drawing or measured interface dimension |
| Roll length | Per handling and changeover interval | Maximum roll mass and core size |
| Perforation | Pitch, sheet length, cut pattern | Dispensing method and operator handling |
| Liquid | Functional grade with verified compatibility | Function, roll and electrode compatibility |
| Loading | Target mass per area or per mass, with tolerance | Trial result and uniformity requirement |
| Packaging | Sealed roll wrap, carton, labelled pack | Moisture, contamination and shipping constraints |
What we need from you
- A drawing or sample of the current roll, including core and perforation.
- The roll surface material, finish and temperature at the cleaning point.
- The contaminant and the current cleaning method, including contact pressure.
- The cleaning liquid or liquid family already in use, if any.
- Trial quantity, target production date and acceptance criteria.
Consistency after approval
The approved sample is retained as the physical reference. The written specification defines the measurable properties, tolerances and inspection method. Production is checked against that specification, and any change to substrate, liquid, loading or dimensions requires documented approval before shipment.
This change-control discipline matters more for custom products than for catalogue items, because there is no independent industry standard to fall back on. The specification is the standard.
Scope limits
We manufacture cleaning materials and impregnated media. We do not manufacture complete calender roll cleaning equipment, and we do not present a custom cloth as a replacement for a mechanical cleaning system. Equipment-related questions should be directed to the equipment supplier.

Frequently asked questions
What can be customised?
Substrate fibre and structure, basis weight, thickness, width, roll length, core diameter, perforation, slit format, liquid grade, loading level, packaging and labelling. The feasible combination is confirmed after a review of the equipment interface and the cleaning method.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Minimum quantity depends on the substrate, the impregnation setup, the slitting format and the packaging. It is confirmed at quotation for the specific configuration rather than published as a single catalogue number.
How long does a custom development take?
The sequence is application review, material proposal, sample trial, specification release and production. Timing depends on whether a new substrate or liquid is required and on the trial schedule. We confirm the sequence before starting.
Can you match an existing roll format?
In many cases yes. Provide a drawing or sample of the current roll, including width, core, length, perforation and packaging. We will confirm which dimensions can be reproduced and which need adjustment.
How is consistency maintained after approval?
The approved sample and written specification become the reference. Incoming material, in-process parameters and finished-product checks are controlled against that reference, and changes require documented approval before shipment.
