Manufacturing nonwoven cleaning materials in our China factory
Cleaning performance depends on how the material is made. Our factory in Suzhou, China links substrate control, web conversion, impregnation, slitting and packing so that the delivered roll matches the agreed specification — for direct supply and OEM programs alike.
Process
From fibre selection to sealed roll
Each stage has an owner, a control point and a record. The purpose is not to describe a factory in general terms, but to show where the specification is protected.
-
01
Fibre and substrate
Fibre grade, blend and web construction are selected against temperature, chemistry, lint and strength requirements. Incoming material is checked against the approved specification.
-
02
Web forming and bonding
The web is formed and bonded to a defined structure. Basis weight, thickness and visual condition are monitored as the material is converted.
-
03
Slitting and winding
Width, edge quality, roll length, core and winding tension are set to the equipment interface. Slit edges are inspected because edge condition affects lint and scratch risk.
-
04
Impregnation
Where applicable, the approved liquid is applied to a target loading and checked for distribution. Drying and equilibration follow the validated process for that product.
-
05
Perforation and conversion
Perforation pitch, sheet format and pack configuration are produced to the drawing or approved sample.
-
06
Final inspection and packing
The finished product is inspected against the specification, labelled with lot identification and packed for moisture, contamination and transport protection.
Capability map
What the production workflow covers
The table separates process capability from commercial terms. Capability is confirmed against the specific configuration; it is not a catalogue promise.
| Area | Capability | Control point | Documented output |
|---|---|---|---|
| Material selection | PET, PET/cellulose and custom blends; substrate and liquid pairing | Approved specification and compatibility review | Material specification and trial record |
| Web conversion | Slitting, winding, perforation and sheet conversion | Width, tension, edge condition and visual inspection | In-process checks and lot record |
| Impregnation | Liquid loading and distribution against a target | Liquid identity, loaded mass and uniformity sampling | Loading results and retained sample where required |
| Format engineering | Roll, perforated roll, sheet and custom pack | Drawing or approved sample | Dimensional inspection |
| Packing | Sealed wrap, cartons, labelled packs and pallets | Seal integrity, quantity and labelling | Packing record and shipping documents |
| Traceability | Lot identification from incoming material to delivery | Lot linkage at each stage | Retrievable records |
Specific tolerances, minimum quantities and lead times are confirmed at quotation. They are not fixed by this page.
Credibility
What can be verified, and how
Manufacturing claims are only useful if a customer can check them. This is what we make available during qualification.
- Specification documentsProduct data, dimensions, loading, test methods and acceptance criteria for the supplied configuration.
- Lot recordsIncoming material, in-process parameters and finished-product results linked to the delivered lot.
- Process walkthroughFacility access and process explanation under confidentiality, arranged during supplier qualification.
- Change notificationNotification and approval workflow for changes that can affect fit, function or downstream risk.
No borrowed credibility
We do not use stock photographs as evidence of our facility, and we do not display certifications, customer logos or testimonials that have not been verified and authorised. If a document is not available, we say so.

Custom manufacturing
A controlled development path
A custom material is developed in stages, not quoted from a catalogue. The sequence protects both sides: the customer sees the material before committing to production, and the specification is fixed before the first commercial lot.

Frequently asked questions
Which production steps are carried out in-house?
Our workflow covers substrate selection and incoming control, web conversion, slitting and winding, impregnation, perforation and final packing. The exact boundary between in-house and qualified partner operations is confirmed during supplier qualification for the specific product.
Can we visit or audit the facility?
Facility access and documentation are discussed as part of supplier qualification and are subject to confidentiality and scheduling. We do not use stock photography as evidence of our facility.
How are custom products transferred to production?
The approved sample and written specification become the production reference. Substrate, dimensions, loading and packing are frozen, and changes require documented approval before shipment.
What determines lead time?
Lead time depends on the substrate, the impregnation setup, the slitting format, packaging and the current production schedule. It is confirmed at quotation for the specific configuration, not published as a universal number.
